Zoe Tite Joins Partner Ranks at Clyde & Co 

International law firm Clyde & Co has unveiled the promotion of 19 new partners, effective May 1, 2024. These appointments bolster the firm’s sectoral prowess worldwide, spanning Aviation, Disputes, Insurance, and Energy, Marine & Natural Resources. 

With over a third of the new partners stationed outside the UK, the appointments include four in APAC (three in Sydney, one in Singapore), one in Dubai, and two in North America (Chicago and New York). Among the 14 UK promotions, eight are in London, four in Manchester, one in Guildford, and one in Edinburgh. 

The promotions underscore Clyde & Co’s sustained growth across diverse regions and sectors. Marking two years since its merger with BLM, the firm’s casualty insurance practice welcomes three new partners, reflecting the merger’s triumph in consolidating a combined Casualty practice serving over 90% of UK general insurers. 

Six of the new partners join the Energy, Marine, and Natural Resources practice group, bolstering its expansion trajectory following the inauguration of the Warsaw office earlier this year, along with the recruitment of a corporate and energy team.

Among the promoted individuals is Zoe Tite (pictured) from the Dubai Aviation Practice. Tite, formerly a legal director in Clyde & Co’s aviation group, brings extensive expertise in advising airlines, owners, lenders, and lessors on cross-border aviation financing, leasing, and trading transactions across commercial and business aviation sectors. 

Prior to her tenure at Clyde & Co, Zoe accrued valuable experience at a leading international aircraft leasing company and a prominent international airline based in the UAE. She also honed her skills at a top aviation law firm in London, Paris, and Hong Kong.
