White & Case: Blue Water Energy sells Kent to Nesma & Partners
Global law firm White & Case acted as legal counsel to energy investment firm Blue Water Energy (Bluewater) on the successful sale of engineering company Kent to Nesma & Partners.
Since Bluewater’s investment in Kent in 2015, the company has experienced substantial growth, particularly after its acquisition of SNC-Lavalin’s oil & gas business in mid-2021. White & Case partner Steven Worthington (pictured), who led the firm’s deal team, expressed pride in advising Bluewater throughout its investment journey and the recent sale of Kent. He highlighted the firm’s expertise in handling complex and global M&A transactions, particularly in the energy sector.
