Uppercase Legal Advisory to Launch Operations in Riyadh
Uppercase Legal Advisory, has announced its plans to establish a practice in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in the second quarter of 2024. This strategic move is part of the firm’s expansion plan in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
The firm had previously expanded its operations to Dubai, UAE, in December last year. Uppercase Legal Advisory specializes in compliance with anti-money laundering (AML), counter-terrorism financing (CFT), financial action task force (FATF) rules, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and trade laws.
The decision to expand to Saudi Arabia aligns with the firm’s commitment to providing comprehensive legal services and strategic support to businesses navigating the complex Saudi market. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has seen a significant surge in its legal and economic landscape, attracting numerous legal firms.
Alexander Kukuev, Managing Partner at Uppercase Legal Advisory, commented on the expansion, stating, “There is a growing demand from our clients who are interested in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. They aim to become part of the largest economy in the Middle East but are cautious about potential entry mistakes.”
He further added, “A reliable strategic and legal partner can help mitigate risks. Uppercase aims to attract multi-industry multi-tier international businesses to Saudi Arabia.”
