Trowers & Hamlins Launches its Energy and Sustainability Practice
Trowers & Hamlins is consolidating its expertise in the rapidly expanding fields of Energy and Sustainability through the establishment of a dynamic new practice group. This strategic initiative aims to further enhance the firm’s client service offerings in these pivotal sectors, areas in which Trowers has made significant recent investments.
Leading the newly formed Energy and Sustainability practice is Partner Chris Paul (pictured), who also spearheads the firm’s Sustainability Committee. Paul will be supported by recent additions to the team, Partners Josh Partridge and Rhianna Wilsher, both of whom joined Trowers & Hamlins last year. With a combined team of nine professionals, the practice is poised to provide comprehensive counsel to clients across diverse industries on all matters pertaining to energy and sustainability.
Commenting on the move, Chris Paul said:
“The past few years have seen the energy and sustainability sector witness rapid growth and change. With the deadline of 2050 for transition to net zero, decarbonisation is high on the agenda for business. Establishing this new practice is a reflection of that and will help us continue to deliver for our clients as they face up to the challenges and opportunities.
“Energy systems are undergoing fundamental changes in the way we produce, use, and interact with energy. Investment into sustainable businesses, both in the UK and abroad, remains buoyant and new models and technologies are regularly coming to market. These are dynamic and exciting areas and it’s right that Trowers is best positioned to help clients make the most of the emerging opportunities.”
