Three new MENA partnerships in A&O Shearman promotion round

Effective May 1, 2026, A&O Shearman has promoted thirty-three lawyers to its partnership, including two in the Middle East — Riyadh-based Mosaed AlAjeel (ENRI) and Dubai-based Harsha Kumar (M&A) — as well as one in North Africa, Casablanca-based Nathalie Zanardo (M&A).

Mosaed AlAjeel

A regulatory and public policy specialist, Mosaed AlAjeel regularly advises on infrastructure, concession, PPP, regulatory and procurement matters across the Middle East. He works with regional and international institutional clients across sectors including public policy, financial services, energy, technology, and industrials.

Harsha Kumar

Harsha Kumar leads the firm’s regional ECM practice in the GCC and advises issuers, shareholders, and investment banks on a plethora of capital markets transactions, including IPOs and secondary offerings across the UAE and wider GCC. Her practice also spans public and private M&A, disposals, joint ventures, and strategic investments, and provides ongoing corporate and listing regulatory advice.

Nathalie Zanardo

Nathalie is a corporate and commercial lawyer specialised in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and foreign investment across Africa. She advises on domestic and cross‑border transactions in Morocco and Sub‑Saharan Africa, acting for clients across sectors including education, healthcare, financial services, energy, infrastructure, and consumer goods.
