The leading law firm in the Middle East and North Africa, Al Tamimi & Company, has re-appointed Willem Steenkamp as a Partner within its Corporate Commercial Department to lead the commercial contracts and commercial agency practice in Dubai.

Willem has a long history with Al Tamimi & Company having started working at the firm in 2008 and being promoted to Partner in 2017. He left Dubai in 2021 but has continued to perform his role remotely, as an external consultant, in the interim. 

Willem has over 18 years of transactional and commercial advisory experience and has practiced UAE law for over 15 years (with Al Tamimi & Company). He is recognised as a leading expert in the area of commercial agencies in the UAE and is ranked in Who’s Who Legal for his franchising experience. Willem regularly acts for local and international blue-chip clients, both listed and unlisted, on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious corporate and commercial matters.
