Sherif El Hosseny named Head of Aviation at Matouk Bassiouny  

Matouk Bassiouny has appointed Sherif El Hosseny (pictured) as Partner and Head of the firm’s Aviation Practice. El Hosseny brings an extensive 23 years of experience to his new role, making him a valuable asset to Matouk Bassiouny’s aviation division. 

Prior to joining Matouk Bassiouny, El Hosseny has worked with renowned law firms, including Helmy, Hamza & Partners – Baker McKenzie, where he honed his expertise in the legal field. He has also held senior legal counsel positions with leading corporations such as Egyptian Resorts Company and Kato Investment, gaining valuable insights into the aviation industry from a business perspective. 

In addition to his impressive track record, El Hosseny is a Founding Partner of Rizkana & Partners, further showcasing his entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to legal excellence. He has advised numerous Egyptian and multinational banks and financial institutions on high-value syndicated facilities, loans, project finance, debt settlements, and debt restructures. El Hosseny has also played a crucial role in representing major multinational aircraft leasing companies, financial institutions, and export credit agencies in cross-border transactions related to aircraft lease and finance for both public and private carriers in Egypt and abroad.
