Shalakany Triumphs in CRCICA Arbitration Case
Shalakany law firm has achieved a successful defence on behalf of its client, a prominent UAE-based service company in the Oil & Gas sector, in a CRCICA Arbitration case arising from a blowout incident during oil well drilling operations in the Assal region of South Sinai, Egypt.
The opposing party had sought nearly USD 20.6 million from our client and other respondents. In a decisive ruling, the Arbitral Tribunal not only dismissed all claims brought forth by the opposing party but also ordered them to cover the entirety of our client’s incurred costs.
