Rana El Said: Alstom’s new legal director

Rana El Said (pictured) has joined Alstom as its new legal director in the Egypt cluster.

Rana El Said’s career path

Rana El Said is a regional in house legal counsel with more than 10 years of practical legal experience. According to her LinkedIn profile, before moving to the in-house practise, she worked as a Junior Associate – from September 2010 to June 2013 – and as an associate – from July 2013 to August 2015 – for Shalakany law firm. She then worked as a legal manager for Lafarge – from September 2015 to October 2017 – and as a regional legal counsel for GE – from November 2017 to August 2019 -. She was then a senior legal counsel for GE Gas Power in Egypt, Libya, Sudan, Levant, Iraq and a senior legal counsel for GE Vernova in Egypt, Libya, Sudan, Levant, Iraq.
