Mohamed Ramadan named managing partner at OGH Legal Egypt
Mohamed Ramadan (pictured) has been appointed as Managing Partner of OGH Legal in Egypt. Ramadan brings over 20 years of extensive experience in corporate law to the role, having advised clients on a broad range of corporate services, including M&A, commercial contracts, due diligence matters, corporate governance, corporate restructurings, and general corporate advisory matters, as well as labor and employment.
Ramadan has developed particular expertise in the life sciences, healthcare, and pharmaceutical sector, earning a reputation as a leading lawyer in the Pharma industry. He also advises clients in the financial institutions, energy, construction, transport, and manufacturing sectors. His practice focuses on advising clients on day-to-day corporate matters, as well as civil law and international trade law issues.
Prior to joining OGH Legal, Ramadan served as a partner and head of the General Corporate Practice at Ibrachy & Dermarkar Law Firm in Cairo, and as a senior associate in the Corporate and Dispute Resolution Practice at DLA Matouk Bassiouny – Part of DLA Piper Group – in Cairo. He is also a renowned lecturer at several leading Egyptian universities, including Cairo University, the American University in Cairo, the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, and the Police Academy.
