Meysan Advises Universe Group on Share Divestiture
Meysan has served as the exclusive legal advisor to Universe Group United Holding Company in the strategic divestiture of its majority stake in Universe Education Company. Universe Education Company, the esteemed proprietor of Dasman Bilingual School in Kuwait, has undergone a significant ownership transition to Cognita, a globally renowned consortium of international private schools.
Throughout this pivotal transaction, Meysan played a pivotal role in structuring the deal and overseeing the drafting and negotiation of all pertinent transactional documentation. Navigating the intricate regulatory framework, Meysan collaborated closely with Cognita’s legal counsel to secure requisite approvals from pertinent authorities, including the Competition Protection Agency (CPA).
