MBH advises B.Tech on securitization transaction
Matouk Bassiouny & Hennawy (MBH) advised B.Tech on its EGP 1,5 billion securitization transaction. This transaction is the second issuance of Capital’s eight securitization program, with a total aggregate amounting to EGP 5 billion.
The team
The MBH team was led by Mohamed Abdel Fattah (partner and head of capital markets, pictured left), and Imane Raouf (partner, pictured right). Furthermore, it included Esraa Mohamed (senior associate) and Abdelreheem Ashraf (associate).
Commercial International Bank, Egypt was also involved in the transaction as the financial advisor, Egyptian Gulf Bank as the custodian, Russel Bedford as the auditor, Capital Securitization Company as the securitization company, and Middle East Rating & Investors Service as the rating agency.
