LegalcommunityMENA Awards 2023: A Night of Legal Excellence
In a magnificent celebration of legal excellence, the LegalcommunityMENA Awards 2023 were spotlighted at the Hilton Cairo Heliopolis Hotel. This esteemed occasion, devoted to honoring the accomplishments of in-house and private practice lawyers in the Middle East and North African markets, gathered approximately 400 legal professionals from various MENA countries.
In collaboration with the Association of Corporate Counsel – ACC Middle East & North Africa chapter, the evening commenced with a warm welcome cocktail, fostering an atmosphere for participants to connect and network. The highlight of the event was the eagerly awaited Roundtable discussion titled, “In-house counsel and AI: how is your team going to look in 10 years?” Guided by Giuseppe Salemme, Journalist at LegalcommunityMENA, the esteemed speakers, included Moustafa Elbadrawi, Head of Legal & Compliance at Signify METAP, Mohamed Osama, Legal & Compliance Director at Novo Nordisk Egypt, Akram Razek, General Counsel in MEA & Turkey at Astellas Pharma, Marwa Saleh, General Counsel at Mercedes-Benz Egypt, Ahmed Singer, GC Legal & Compliance, KSA, Egypt, Lebanon, Bahrain & Yemen at Johnson Controls Arabia, Abdel Aziz Zaki, General Legal Counsel at Samsung Electronics Egypt, engaged in a lively and insightful conversation covering various facets of the topic.
Following the Roundtable, the Awards Ceremony took center stage, where deserving winners were acknowledged, celebrated, and presented with their well-deserved accolades.
The successful event concluded with a sumptuous seated dinner, providing attendees with an opportunity for further networking and celebration.
