Jörg Häring joins Fresenius Medical Care as Global Head of Legal

Fresenius Medical Care, a prominent provider of products and services for people with kidney disease, has appointed Jörg Häring (pictured) as its new Global Head of Legal, Compliance, and Human Resources. Häring, who will join the company as a member of the Board of Management, will start on June 1, 2024, and will also assume the position of Chief Labour Officer.

Jörg Häring currently serves as a member of the Management Committee, Chief Legal & Assurance Officer, and Secretary General of Compañía Española de Petróleos (CEPSA), with global responsibility for Legal, Corporate Audit, Risk, and Compliance. Previously, he spent more than 20 years in the Siemens Group, including almost 13 years as General Counsel, with a wide range of regional and industrial responsibilities. Häring brings excellent knowledge and extensive experience in Corporate Governance.

Before joining Siemens in 2002, Häring worked at the law firm Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton, based in Frankfurt and Brussels. He holds a doctorate in law and a degree in economics from the University of Tübingen (Germany) and is admitted to the bar by the Munich II District Court.
