AS&H with Clifford Chance welcome Hanan Hassanain to its partnership 

Abuhimed Alsheikh Alhagbani Law Firm (AS&H) in co-operation with Clifford Chance, has named Hanan Hassanain (pictured) as a partner, effective 01 July 2022. 

Hassanain has extensive experience in public policy matters as well as in legislative drafting. She has advised a number of strategic national regulatory initiatives and mega projects on regulatory frameworks, most of which included aspects that differed from the base economy laws, and has led on a number of regulatory projects which included drafting of new laws and regulations. 

Hassanain started her legal career in 2011 as a legal researcher for the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul). She then joined the practice of Abdulaziz AlGasim in association with Allen & Overy. During her time with the firm, she obtained a master of laws, international Business and Economic Law, with a particular focus on Securities and Finance Law, followed by a short stint as a legal extern at the International Monetary Fund in Washington D.C. The end of 2016 saw her joining AS&H, where she excelled and was promoted multiple times before making partner in July of 2022.
