Four new partners promoted at Hadef & Partners
As of January 2025, four new partners have been promoted at the DubaI-based firm Hadef & Partners George Anis, Mohamed Eissa, Marwan Abdel Hamid, and Rami Obeid.
The profiles
Before joining Hadef & Partners George Anis worked as a judge from 2011 to 2022. He is a member of the regulatory and government advisory practice. Furthermore, he brings fifteen years of expertise in government, regulatory, tax advisory, public law, and dispute resolution. George Anis has extensive experience advising government and private entities on legal and regulatory matters. He also acts as an arbitrator in contractual and construction disputes and provides strategic advice to private-sector clients seeking clarity on government determinations.
Mohamed Eissa is a member of the dispute resolution practice. He was at HFW between 2017 and 2021 and at Ince & Co from 2021 to 2023. He then joined Hadef & Partners where he has been the last two years. Additionally, he has twenty years of experience in handling disputes in shipping, aviation, financial crime, commercial and banking.
Marwan Abdel Hamid is a member of the corporate practice, with a previous experience at Baker McKenzie between 2011 and 2013. He has been in Hadef & Partners from 2013 onwards. He advises on complex reorganisational matters as well as advising a number of local and expatriate families in the UAE and GCC. Furthermore, his practice extends on a range of corporate structuring, family wealth planning, advisory and regulatory matters as well as Capital Markets and Initial Public Offering transactions.
Rami Obeid is a member of the dispute resolution `practice. Before joining Hadef & Partners in 2014 he worked at Sayed & Sayed between 2009 and 2012. Rami Obeid has substantial experience handling a wide range of commercial litigation and has acted for leading regional and multi-national companies His practice includes a broad range of commercial matters with particular experience in commercial contracts, real estate, insurance, intellectual property and debt recovery matters.
