His loss is felt deeply, not only within our legal and social circles, but within the wider community as a whole.”

Samer Qudah: Managing Partner, Al Tamimi & Company:

“We have lost a dear friend and a key member of the Tamimi family.
As a lawyer, Ehab was brilliant and his presence and experience were second to none. The way he engaged with clients and colleagues, with his infectious personality and good humour, made him a joy to be around. Ehab was highly regarded by everyone that came in contact with him, and our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends at this time.”

Ehab began his legal career in 2000, as an associate at Ashraf Taha Law Firm. He then worked as an Assistant Public Prosecutor at the Public Prosecution Office in Luxor, Egypt, before joining Al Kamel Law Office as an Associate. He rose through the ranks at Al Kamel to become a Mid-Level Associate before joining Baker & McKenzie (Cairo Office) as a Senior Associate. Ehab was promoted to Local Partner at Baker & McKenzie Cairo before founding his own law firm, Nour & Taha Law Firm, in 2011. He later joined TMS Law Firm as Managing Partner before becoming a Partner and Head of Corporate Commercial & Head of Banking & Finance at Al Tamimi & Company – Egypt Office in August 2020.

Ehab attended the Faculty of Law at Cairo University and obtained his Bachelor of Law degree in 1999. He also attended the Sadat Academy for Management Science and Misr Language School in Giza, Egypt. Ehab furthered his education by attending Paralegal Courses at the University of California in Santa Clara and Criminology Courses at the Center of Judicial Studies in Cairo.

Ehab was a gifted lawyer, whose expertise and dedication earned him the trust and respect of his clients and colleagues. He was a mentor to many young lawyers and was known for his generosity in sharing his knowledge and experience. Ehab was also deeply committed to giving back to his community, and was involved in several charitable and philanthropic activities.

“Ehab’s sudden passing is a great loss to the legal profession and to all those who knew him. He will be remembered as a brilliant lawyer, a mentor, and a friend. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time. May his soul rest in peace.”
