Habib Al Mulla and Partners has appointed Amir Alkhaja (pictured) as its new managing partner. With a career spanning over 15 years in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Alkhaja brings a wealth of expertise to the legal arena, specializing in commercial, white-collar crime, and banking litigation. Holding a valid UAE law license and the right of audience in local and federal UAE courts, including the Cassation and Supreme Court, Alkhaja is well-prepared to navigate complex legal challenges.
Alkhaja’s professional journey has seen him successfully representing a diverse clientele, including international clients embroiled in litigation matters and providing legal counsel to companies and high net worth individuals involved in both local and cross-border disputes across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and the broader Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
Notably, Alkhaja’s career trajectory includes a previous role as a police officer in the Dubai Police, where he served in pivotal positions within key police stations and departments.
