Fraser Dawson returns to Addleshaw Goddard in Abu Dhabi

Addleshaw Goddard has announced the return of Fraser Dawson (pictured) to its Middle East practice, joining the Abu Dhabi office as a partner in the corporate and private equity team, effective 1 June 2026.

Dawson rejoins Addleshaw Goddard after serving as executive director (investments), board secretary and general counsel at NEOM Investment Fund, where he worked across complex investment, governance and strategic initiatives within the giga-project. He was previously a partner in the firm’s Dubai office between January 2022 and April 2023.

Background and expertise

Dawson advises clients on corporate transactions, including private equity, M&A and strategic investments, with a particular focus on sovereign-linked entities, institutional investors and multinational businesses operating across the GCC and internationally.
