Zaki Hashem Guides Antipollution Egypt in Waste Contract
Zaki Hashem, Attorneys at Law, has provided legal counsel to Antipollution Egypt SAE regarding the waste management and services contract with the Red Sea Port Authority.
The agreement, officially signed with the Ministry of Transportation’s Egyptian Marine Supply and Contracting Company, signifies the commencement of Antipollution Egypt’s operations.
The company will be responsible for collecting, transporting, processing, and safely disposing of ship-generated wastes and cargo residues for all vessels passing through the Suez Canal. Antipollution Egypt, a joint stock company, is a collaboration between the Suez Canal Authority, V Group, and Eric Adam, an Egyptian-Greek businessman, aiming to enhance logistical services for vessels transiting the Suez Canal.
The team of lawyers advising V Group/Antipollution was led by Partner Hossam Hafez (pictured) and included Senior Associate Khalid Al Melegi and Associate Youssef ElHadidy.
All corporate matters related to Antipollution Egypt and its shareholders are handled by Partner Heba El Naggar and Senior Associate Nour Ossama.
