Zahid, Matteo Grassani is group general counsel

As of 1 January 2025 Matteo Grassani (in photo) will be the new general counsel of Zahid, a Saudi group operating in various sectors, including construction, mining, oil and gas, agriculture, energy, transport and logistics, real estate, tourism, waste management and recycling, and hospitality.

The profile

Grassani joined Zahid in 2023 as group deputy general counsel. He was previously head of legal at Shell for the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago and in Kazakhstan, led the legal team at BG Group and was legal director at Endesa. He also gained experience at the law firms Chiomenti and Clifford Chance.
