White & Case on Alpha Bank on Strategic Disposal of NPL Portfolio

Global law firm White & Case has provided advisory services to Alpha Bank, one of Greece’s systemic banks, on its recent agreement to dispose of a portfolio with a gross book value of approximately €240 million. The portfolio comprises a mixed pool of secured non-performing loans (NPL) extended to Greek large corporate entities and small and medium-sized enterprises.

The White & Case team that advised on the international aspects of the transaction was led by partner Debashis Dey (Dubai and London) and included local partner Greg Pospodinis and associate Thomas Jacques (both Dubai).
