White & Case with Finnforel on Abu Dhabi aquaculture project
White & Case has advised Finnish aquaculture technology company Finnforel on the development of an advanced fish farming and processing facility in Abu Dhabi.
Finnforel has signed an agreement with Abu Dhabi Developmental Holding Company (ADQ) to collaborate on the development of a land-based fish farming facility with an annual capacity of 3,000 tonnes in the UAE. The facility will utilise Finnforel’s solutions to cultivate rainbow trout year-round in stable, safe, and clean indoor conditions. Founded in 2015 and headquartered in Finland, Finnforel specialises in sustainable aquaculture technologies.
