White & Case Guides Actis in Telekom Srbija’s Tower Portfolio Deal

Global law firm White & Case has provided legal counsel to Actis in its acquisition of a telecom tower portfolio from Telekom Srbija, a telecommunications operator in Central & Eastern Europe. The transaction involves approximately 1,800 macro towers, with a focus on Serbia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, and Montenegro.

“This is an extremely exciting transaction for Actis and is intended to be its cornerstone platform investment for towers in the region,” said White & Case partner Sandra Rafferty, who led the Firm’s deal team. “We have supported Actis on a transaction in a sector that is forecast to expand significantly in Central & Eastern Europe and the western Balkans in the coming years.”

Actis has established an independent Towerco as part of the deal, entering a long-term Master Services Agreement with Telekom Srbija. The agreement includes build-to-suit commitments for expanding the platform’s reach and accommodating emerging technologies in the region.

Actis is a global investor in sustainable infrastructure, managing over US$12.5 billion in assets. Telekom Srbija operates in Serbia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, and Montenegro.
