Shane Jury joins Ashurst Dubai as a partner

Ashurst is adding to its Disputes & Investigations offering in the UAE with the appointment of partner Shane Jury (pictured), who joins in Dubai, in the latest addition to Ashurst’s Middle East team. Jury is joined by senior associate Emma Tormey.

Shane Jury’s career path

Jury’s practice focuses on complex commercial disputes and investigations with significant expertise in the financial services sector. He also has particular expertise in civil fraud, shareholders’ disputes and restructuring/insolvency related claims across arbitration and litigation in the DIFC and ADGM Courts. Emma works on general commercial litigation and arbitration across a range of industries. He joins from Addleshaw Goddard where he was Head of Commercial Disputes, Middle East.

Tormey also joins from Addleshaw Goddard, where she worked as managing associate. Prior to that, she had been working as a sollicitor at Herbert Smith Freehills.
