Shalakany with Anglogold Ashanti on Centamin acquisition

Shalakany acted as local counsel alongside lead counsel Slaughter and May for Anglogold Ashanti in its acquisition of Centamin which closed on 22 November 2024. Centamin is an established gold producer, whose flagship tier 1 asset is the Sukari gold mine, Egypt’s largest and first modern gold mine and one of the world’s largest producing mines.
