Shaimaa Sebak appointed as Group Legal Officer at Alkan CIT
Shaimaa Sebak (pictured) appointed as Group Legal Officer reporting to Group CEO – at Alkan CIT, effective from August 2024, Sebak will assume the role of Group Legal Director to Alkan CIT serving the following companies Alkan Telecom, Alkan Network, QSIT, Alkan Gulf & Alkan Africa.
Shaimaa Sebak’s career path
Over the past 20 years Sebak has gained a wealth of experience working in various legal roles across private, multinational, and governmental Telecom companies leading legal, regulatory & compliance functions. She has held key positions at notable companies such as Telecom Egypt, Etisalat e&, National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA), and IHS Towers.
Her diverse global experience has provided her with a deep understanding of ICT industry & deal with complex transactions and tenders, contract negotiations, dispute resolution, Regulatory & Compliance issues across different areas of telecom business such as Infrastructure, Enterprise, retail and wholesale services.
Sebak graduated from the Faculty of Law, English Section, at Cairo University, where she laid the foundation for her distinguished career in the legal field. Also she pursued and obtained an MBA & LLM specializing in Litigation and Dispute settlement Procedures from the Arab Academy for Science and Technology (AAST) and Certified ACC’s In house Counsel.
