Adsero advises on the acquisition of Selah El Telmeez 

The Sovereign Fund of Egypt (“TSFE”) and education management firm Egypt Education Platform (“EEP”) have successfully entered into a joint acquisition of an undisclosed majority stake in the educational publishing entity Selah El Telmeez (“SET”).  

The investment, that is aimed to help Selah El Telmeez in its digital expansion and market share, is part of TSFE’s education investment strategy aimed at collaborating with market players to help expand and develop the Egyptian educational system. 

Adsero-Ragy Soliman and Partners acted as legal counsel for TSFE in this transaction with a team led by partner Mohamed Abdelgawad (pictured, right) and senior associate Ahmed Adib (pictured, left) assisted by associate Farida Banany and junior associates Nayera Hassan and Amira Samy.   

EEP tapped White & Case acted as legal advisor for EEP while Al Tamimi & Co had sell-side duties.
