NBE obtains ISO certification in quality management of the legal group

The National Bank of Egypt (“NBE”), one of the most prominent banks in Egypt, Africa and the Middle East, successfully obtained the “ISO 9001/2015” certificate in the field of Quality Management of the legal group, granted by the British Standards Institution (“BSI”) accredited by UKAS The International Accreditation Body in the United Kingdom.

The certificate was handed during a ceremony held by the National Bank of Egypt at its head office, in the presence of Hisham Okasha, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Bank of Egypt, Mohamed Abou El Fadl, Director of the British Standards Institution in Egypt, Ashraf Shaaban, head of the legal group at NBE, and executive team of the legal group.

Ashraf Shaaban extended his thanks and appreciation to all of the legal group cadres and competencies in its  two wings “Litigation and Legal Support” for the efforts made, which resulted in obtaining this certificate and strengthening the leadership of the National Bank of Egypt in adopting and applying best practices and international standards, and the continuous pursuit of development and work in the concept of partnership with various business sectors by finding legal solutions to manage the risks in the bank’s business, which contributes to achieving NBE’s objectives  and strategies at the highest rates.
