MBH Advises Libby’s in Egyptian Trademark Dispute

Matouk Bassiouny & Hennawy (MBH) acted as legal advisor in successfully defending Libby’s trademark rights in Egypt. MBH’s intellectual property litigation team achieved a significant judgment before the State Council Courts, resulting in the cancellation of multiple counterfeit trademark registrations.

The court not only revoked the infringing registrations but also confirmed Libby’s trademark as globally well-known, ensuring its protection under the Paris Convention for the Protection of Industrial Property and Egyptian law.
