Linklaters names Amro Bakhaidar Saudi managing partner

Linklaters has named Amro Bakhaidar as its national managing partner for Saudi Arabia, effective for a four-year term. The role was previously held by Waleed Rasrommani, who recently joined Gibson Dunn’s Riyadh office.

Bakhaidar, a specialist in equity capital markets and public M&A transactions in the Kingdom, played a central role in the establishment of Linklaters’ Riyadh office, as confirmed by Linklaters’ firmwide Managing Partner, Paul Lewis.

Commenting on the appointment, the firm’s Middle East national managing partner Kieron Zaman described Saudi Arabia as a core market for the firm’s Middle East practice, highlighting Bakhaidar’s client relationships and local insight as key assets as the market continues to evolve.
