TotalEnergies and Masdar forms a joint venture: the advisors

Multi-energy company TotalEnergies agreed to form a joint venture with Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company PJSC, Masdar. The parties signed a binding agreement to establish a US$2.2 billion 50/50 joint venture that will merge their onshore renewable activities in nine countries across Asia.

In connection with the operation, Latham & Watkins advised TotalEnergies, and Norton Rose Fulbright represented Masdar.

The Latham & Watkins team

The Latham team, led by London partners Beatrice Lo and Ed Barnett, with associates Stuart McRobbie and Vladislav Vasiliev, also included Dubai partners Eyad Latif (pictured left) and Omar Maayeh (pictured right), working on UAE matters with associate Sammy Lockhart.
