Kirkland & Ellis with investor consortium on EA acquisition

Kirkland & Ellis advised an investor consortium including PIF, Silver Lake, and Affinity Partners in a definitive agreement to acquire Electronic Arts, a Nasdaq-listed specialist in digital interactive entertainment. The operation entailed an all-cash transaction placing EA at an enterprise value of approximately $55 billion.

Moreover, Kirkland & Ellis is acting as lead legal counsel to PIF in connection with the deal.
