Jurisera promotes Alia Omran to senior associate 

Egypt-based law firm Jurisera, has promoted associate Alia Omran (pictured) to the role of senior associate effective Jan 1st,2023. 

Omran has a diverse legal background in multiple areas of law, including corporate and commercial matters, arbitration and litigation aviation, and investment and banking matters. She advises in various areas, namely; dispute resolution (both litigation and ADR), corporate, pharma, media, aviation, employment, and banking.

Omran’s practice focuses on advising multinational companies on corporate law matters starting from incorporation of local entities, corporate formalities, change of managers and capital increases, as well as liquidation procedures and entity closures). Omran has advised multinational companies on employment laws and policies, such as employment contracts, hiring requirements for foreign nationals, terminations, internal policies, internships regulations, social insurances regulations and many other points. 

Omran has also supported global banks in post-acquisition restructuring processes under Egyptian laws and regulations, and in the preparation of the required facility and security documents.
