Linklaters appoints Jonathan Fried as Middle East Managing Partner 

Global law firm Linklaters has appointed Jonathan Fried (pictured) as managing partner for the Middle East, effective 1 December. Fried will also contribute towards key management decisions that help shape the firm’s overall strategy. Fried is taking up the role from corporate partner Scott Campbell, who has held the role since 2014. 
 
Based in Dubai, Fried has been with Linklaters for over 2 decades and as the firm’s Middle East Head of Capital Markets has built a successful practice covering the full range of products across all sectors. Widely recognised in the Middle East, he has considerable experience supporting sovereigns, government-related entities, financial institutions and companies on their critical international financings.
