Eastern & Co. names Hossam Atef as Managing Partner 

Egyptian law firm, Eastern & Co. has appointed Hossam Atef (pictured) as its managing partner.  

Atef has extensive experience in the field of corporate law, with a focus on Mergers & Acquisitions and joint-ventures transactions. He has assisted clients in a range of industries, including touristic, energy, construction, FMCG and more, through the due diligence process and drafting of final reports.  

Atef has handled the incorporation, liquidation and merger of companies, and has a strong track record in drafting and reviewing major contracts, including Mergers & Acquisitions agreements, Joint Ventures, SPAs, and various commercial agreements. Additionally, he has completed several due diligences, including reviewing all documents and ledgers of banks and companies for major clients. Atef has also established ESOPs for employees in SAE companies and provided legal opinions on a range of issues, including Companies Law, Civil and Commercial Law, Corporate issues, and Labor issues. 

Atef joined Eastern & Co in May 2022 from Al Kamel law firm, where he has worked since 2007.
