Hafez & Partners on Inauguration of TSFE Cosmic Village Schools

The Sovereign Fund of Egypt (TSFE), a client of Hafez & Partners, celebrated a significant milestone with the inauguration of four schools in the first phase of the Cosmic Village land development. Hafez & Partners played a crucial role in advising TSFE on the construction agreement, project consultant agreement, and facilitating the necessary documentation and procedures for a seamless handover of the project site to the designated contractor.

This inauguration marks the realization of a collective vision to transform the Cosmic Village land, an underutilized state asset, into a fully integrated educational hub. The first phase of the project focuses on establishing five schools and a sports club to serve the entire community.

The transformative impact of the Cosmic Village projects on the community is evident in the provision of access to quality education. The schools inaugurated contribute to the creation of an integrated education hub within the Cosmic Village.

In collaboration with the private sector, TSFE has taken the initiative to maximize the benefits of the Cosmic Village land, which was transferred to it by a decision of the President of the Republic. Four schools have been developed on a portion of the land, with Mobica Integrated Industries building and managing Westview International Language School (WILS) and Scholars International Language School (SILS) through Egypt Education Platform (EEP). Cairo Investment and Real Estate Development Company (CIRA) partnered with Elsewedy Capital to develop “Regent School,” managed by Eduhive. Additionally, Future Tech School is built and managed by CIRA.

TSFE’s approach aligns with its goal to leverage state-owned, unexploited assets, creating partnerships with private-sector specialists to enhance sustainable development and contribute to Egypt’s Vision 2030. This initiative signifies a commitment to maximizing the value of these assets for the benefit of future generations.

TSFE was supported by Omar Saad (Associate, pictured) and Engy Mubarak (formerly a Senior Associate at H&P).

The TSFE Team: Mahmoud Moharam (Legal Counsel), Kamal Tarek Kamal (Senior Associate), Ahmed Abouel-Wafa (Projects Manager) and Sarah Abdallah Mahmoud (Development Manager).
