Galadari’s new dispute resolution partner: Hasan Elshafiey

Dubai-based Galadari Advocates & Legal Consultants expanded its partnership lineup with the addition Hasan Elshafiey (pictured) in the firm’s dispute resolution practice.

The profile

Elshafiey’s expertise spans international arbitration, complex local and cross-border litigation, with a particular focus on energy and construction-related disputes. His arrival further strengthens Galadari’s disputes and arbitration capabilities across the Middle East.

Throughout his career, he advised multinational corporations, government entities, and leading contractors on disputes in the construction, energy, infrastructure, ESG, real estate, insurance, joint-venture and investment sectors. He has acted in international arbitrations administered under ICC, LCIA, DIAC, QICCA, and SCCA rules, and has also served as arbitrator regional matters.

Elshafiey moves from DLA Piper, where he worked as legal director from 2020 to 2025.
