Freshfields with OSN for a stake in Anghami
Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer (Freshfields) has advised Panther Media Group (known as OSN) on its acquisition of a majority stake in Anghami. OSN Group acquired 55.45 per cent of Anghami, giving it a majority stake at a valuation of $3.69 per share.
Partners Michael Hilton (pictured left) and Paul Humphreys (pictured right) headed the team, along with counsel Enrique Dancausa and senior associate Cheree Gemmell, supported by associates Max Chapman, Ciara O’Loughlin and Chinyere Obi.
The combination of OSN+ and Anghami will leverage the media and entertainment landscape in the MENA region.
