Freshfields Welcomes Saad Mian to its Partnership
International law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer (‘Freshfields’) is set to bolster its team with the addition of 23 new partners effective from May 1, 2024.
The newly appointed partners represent all five practice groups and regions, underscoring Freshfields’ commitment to nurturing talent across the globe as part of its overarching global strategy.

Among the newly promoted partners is Saad Mian (pictured), based in the Dubai office and part of the Global Transactions practice. Mian brings with him over 15 years of experience as an M&A lawyer, specializing in advising financial sponsors and strategic investors on a range of transactions including acquisitions, disposals, co-investments, and reorganizations. He is admitted as a Solicitor in England and Wales, with previous experience at Latham and Watkins in London.
Mian’s primary areas of expertise include mergers and acquisitions, private capital, and technology, with a focus on industries such as industrials, infrastructure, and technology. His proficiency extends to handling various aspects of M&A deals, including separations, joint ventures, and private M&A transactions.
