Ezekiel Tuma to become managing partner at Asar
Asar Legal is in the process of changing its leadership. The transition will take effect on November 1st, and deep changes will be made to the main positions of responsibility.
Ezekiel Tuma (pictured – last on the right), a senior M&A, banking and finance partner is set to hold the position of managing partner. Tuma has been part of Asar for the last 13 years where he worked on many high profile mergers.
Co-founder and senior partner Sam Habbas (pictured – first on the left) will step up as first-chairman. After 16 years in the role he will be in charge of the firm’s overall vision and its leadership.
Ahmed Barakat (pictured – center), managing partner and the head of commercial litigation and arbitration (CLA), will become senior partner while maintaining his previous role as head of CLA. His 16 years experience will complement his new role.
