Dreny & Partners with VaIU on EGP 735 m securitization
Dreny & Partners advised ValU on the closure of its 19th securitization transaction amounting to EGP 735 million. The operation – backed by a receivable’s portfolio originated by ValU – falls within the broader context of a 3-year multi-issuances program with a total value of EGP 4 billion.
The banking support
EFG Hermes Promoting & Underwriting S.A.E served as the financial advisor and lead arranger of the transaction, while Arab African International Bank and EFG Hermes Promoting & Underwriting S.A.E acted as underwriters. Arab African International Bank served as the custodian and bookrunner, while Baker Tilly (Hilal & Abdel Ghaffar) acted as the official auditor.
