Dreny & Partners advises Tamweel Mortgage on securitization
Dreny & Partners advised Tamweel Mortgage throughout completion of its second securitization transaction of a multi-issuances program for their Mortgage portfolio amounting to EGP 2.103 billion. The operation falls within the wider context of a 3-year multi-issuance program with a total value of EGP 5 billion. The issuance was backed by a receivable’s portfolio originated by Tamweel Mortgage.
The banking support
Al Ahly Pharos Promoting & Underwriting S.A.E and Beltone acted as the financial advisors and lead arrangers, while Al Ahly pharos, National Bank of Egypt, Banque du Caire, Banque Misr and Suez Canal Bank served as underwriters. Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank acted as the custodian and Suez Canal Bank as bookrunner, while Baker Tilly served as the official auditor.
