Dentons with Carpo on franchise agreement with Americana
Dentons advised premium food retailer Carpo on a franchise agreement with Americana Restaurants. The deal in question grants Americana exclusive rights to operate Carpo stores in Kuwait and Qatar, with further expansion planned across Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.
The parties
Headquartered in Athens, Greece, Carpo operates retail locations across Greece and the UK. Moreover, the Greek company recently debuted in the UAE.
Americana Restaurants is a quick-service and casual dining operator, active across the MENA region and Kazakhstan.
