International law firm CMS acted as legal counsel for The WellBoss Company, a well-established specialist in well completion equipment manufacturing and a wholly owned subsidiary of Schoeller-Bleckmann Oilfield Equipment (“SBO”), in its acquisition of Praxis Completion Technology (“Praxis”), a renowned provider of packer systems and completion products in the Middle East. This was a significant move in enhancing SBO’s presence in this strategically important regional market.
This transaction bolsters SBO’s footprint in the Middle East while also introducing valuable technology to the well completion segment within SBO’s offerings. The acquisition of Praxis holds the potential for transformative growth in SBO’s operations in this key market.
Patrik Daintry, CMS Partner (pictured) in the corporate team in Dubai, comments: “We’re delighted to have supported The WellBoss Company on its strategic acquisition of Praxis. The transaction cements its market-leading position and enables it to expand on its offering across the Middle East.”
The CMS team was led by Partner Patrik Daintry and included Hanna Uhlin, Aseel Abu Dabat and Amira El Kholany (all Corporate), Blair Jones (Energy & Infrastructure) and Chloe Lammiman (Employment).
