Clyde & Co promotes two new partners in Middle East

Clyde & Co has officialised the promotion of twenty-eight new partners, effective from 1 May 2026. Among the appointments, Doha-based Maha Lawson (pictured left) and Dubai-based Julia Ofer (pictured right), both from the firm’s corporate group.

Since May 2024, Clyde & Co has appointed nine new partners across the region, including hires spanning technology, tax, aviation, and energy.

Maha Lawson

Maha Lawson advises international clients and Qatari institutions on a range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), debt capital markets, incorporations, regulatory and corporate governance, and employment matters. Moreover, she regularly supports financial institutions on financing and regulatory matters.

Julia Ofer

Based in the UAE since 2012, Julia Ofer advises local and multinational clients on corporate structuring and restructuring, and foreign direct investment (FDI) across the Middle East. Her practice also spans UAE regulatory, compliance, governance, and licensing matters.
