Clifford Chance with AMEA Power on Abydos’ solar plant project

Clifford Chance advised AMEA Power and Abydos Solar Power Company on the development and financing of a solar photovoltaic (PV) and battery energy storage project in Aswan, Egypt.

The project will be the largest integrated solar and battery energy storage infrastructure in Africa, comprising a 1,000 MW solar PV plant and a 600 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS).
