Clifford Chance hires Lynn Ammar as a partner
Clifford Chance has hired Lynn Ammar (pictured) as a partner in its global M&A practice. Lynn will join Clifford Chance in September, operating out of the firm’s Abu Dhabi and Dubai offices.
Lynn Ammar’s career path
Having more than a decade-long focus on the MENA region, Lynn brings a wealth of experience in cross-border M&A and private equity transactions. She regularly advises corporate and public sector clients, including national oil companies, wealth funds and pension funds, on multi-billion dollar transactions across a range of industries, with a particular focus on energy and renewables, healthcare, technology and consumer products.
Prior to joining Clifford Chance, Lynn was a partner at Cleary Gottlieb. She spent 12 years working in the firm’s Abu Dhabi and Paris offices. Lynn ranks as an Up and Coming partner in Chambers Global for corporate/M&A and as Next Generation Partner in the Legal 500 EMEA. She is a graduate of Harvard Law School and admitted to practice in New York.
