Bird & Bird re-elects Christian Bartsch as CEO

Bird & Bird’s partnership has re-elected Christian Bartsch (pictured) as CEO for a further four-year term. Bartsch, who served as CEO since April 2022, has managed the launch of the firm’s five-year strategy in May 2024.

In 2025, Bird & Bird reported growing financial results. Over the previous three years, the firm’s revenue increased by 28%, reflecting an average annual growth rate of 9%.

Under Bartsch’s tenure, the firm has opened several new offices in recent years, including Tokyo in 2024, as well as Riyadh and Lisbon, both opened in 2025.
