Beeton joins Hadef & Partners’ commercial team
Julie Beeton (pictured) has joined leading UAE law firm Hadef & Partners as a senior consultant to the commercial team.
Julie Beeton’s career path
Beeton brings over 20 years of legal experience with expertise in corporate/commercial law, data protection, education, hospitality, cross-border transactions, corporate governance and compliance. She has broad international experience having worked in Canada, the United Kingdom and over 14 years in the United Arab Emirates, where she has worked in private practice, senior legal counsel and General Counsel positions. Prior to joining Hadef & Partners, Julie was the head of the legal team for the registration authority at the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) where she led the team responsible for drafting and developing commercial legislation in the financial centre.
She has extensive experience in the education field and has provided strategic, business-focused advice to Boards and management teams on all general corporate/commercial matters including drafting and reviewing all commercial agreements, providing legal advice on data protection, leasing, franchising, school management agreements, corporate governance and compliance.
